The context manager can handle multiple concurrent contexts whereby one single instance can manage multiple participating applications across many devices. This eases deployment for CCOW-compliant environments and enables centralized reporting and auditing.
If your applications are all CCOW-compliant participants you can avoid having a context manager deployed on all participating machines. Optionally a small discovery service can point applications to the central context manager, whereas DNS can also be used. This minimizes time to deploy and update the context manager and also significantly reduces the number of components to maintain in the infrastructure.
Centralization of data related to context sessions also makes it easy to generate reports
and provides a singular location for auditing activities.
